I’m absolutely in love with this Chinese restaurant in Pensacola, FL! The New Hong Kong House provides an all around excellent dining experience! Atmosphere: The restaurant is on the corner of a small shopping center with a large interior that provides a variety of seating areas. Service: Our waiter was on it. He placed our orders quickly, made sure that we had refills, and gave great recommendations when asked! Menu items: We got the Baked Custard Tarts (Egg Tarts) from the Dim Sum menu, Egg Drop Soup (not pictured), Pork and Shrimp Dumplings, Curry Chicken, and Black Pepper Chicken with Lo Mein. Every single dish was delicious and flavorful providing unique menu options to the area. I loved it so much that I’m already planning to come back to try new menu items!

Pining for a "fancy" Chinese meal? Look no further! New Hong Kong House is has lo mai gai (chicken sticky rice in lotus wrapper), roast duck, Chinese takeout classics like - mei fun, orange chicken, etc. There's also a full bar, a private room, and outdoor seating. Most of the dishes are shareable, but you probably won't want to because it's just that good. My favorites have been the beef mei fun - they get the smoky wok flavor and the tender beef just right, the black pepper beef - tender, juicy, and peppery, the egg rolls, and the roast duck - fragrant, tender, and seasoned very well. If you want an elevated Chinese dining experience, this is an easy choice.

Let's get this very clear. The server we had was a new kid and was a bit nervous and still learning. That said Let's dive in. The food was phenomenal. The waiter was amazing and gracious. I would definitely go back and bring friends. Here is the kicker. THEY DEFINITELY EARNED THE PENSACOLA BEST IN 2025!

This place far exceeded my expectations. The remodel is nice, I like that there is a brighter middle section, and a darker back section for headache sufferers like me. It is inviting but still intimate. The food was very very good, but the service was top tier. Shane knew the menu in and out, and was able to make great suggestions that we enjoyed very much, as well as give us many a reason to come back. My buddy and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him about the menu and chinese food as a whole. I will certainly be asking for him again when we come back. The mongolian lamb was quite good, nice and smokey with lots of vegetables. The eggplant with tofu was so good! Tofu was a little dry inside, but eggplant was perfect. All of the dumplings and dim sum were also good, but the Portuguese egg tarts were a real standout treat. I expected the rice paper variant, but instead got some real deal super buttery Pasteis De Nata, and buddy I'll be back just for these. A pain to make at home, but super nice way to end our meal. There is a wide range of prices, and portions felt very fair. Absolutely worth a visit. Ask for Shane.

missing texas, i knew i had to grab some dim sum before my drive home. i expected it to be good but, wow, i loved everything and im planning my next trip back already. it was $30 for an appetizer and 3 dim sum dishes, which were so delicious i honestly didn’t mind the pricing. takeout comes in awesome reusable containers and a cute reusable bag. sauce portions are perfect for a home chef. do not pass this place up!
